Ann Massie - Reiki Master

Originally from Boston, Ann has lived in New York and San Francisco working in a fast-paced creative field. The stress of daily life as a single mom with two children in a demanding field eventually had a negative impact on her health. She realized she had to focus on her health and subsequently left that career. One of the most powerful avenues back to health was Reiki.

Twice a friend suggested she try a Reiki treatment, once after breast cancer surgery and the second after her MS diagnosis. Chronic fatigue was overwhelming, and she finally said “OK, what have I got to lose?” After being treated on a regular basis, Ann felt her energy return, anxiety abated, and she felt hopeful again. This led her to wanting to learn Reiki so she could give back.

After completing Reiki I and Reiki II classes in 2017, she began to see a variety of clients, these included people with anxiety, depression, PTSD and eating disorders.  She has helped clients who want to quiet their mind and obsessive thinking. People who suffer from back pain, hearing loss, Crohn’s disease as well as grief and loss. People who want to deepen their spiritual practice.

Now a certified Reiki Master as of January 2023 she has started teaching Reiki Classes in her home studio. Her Master training was a three process that included, 2000 client hours, and a master thesis project-Hawayo Takata: Reiki Healing . She completed Reiki First and Second Degrees at San Francisco Reiki Center in 2018 and completed the Certified Reiki Practitioner Program in 2019. She has been seeing clients in person for private sessions and distance online sessions since 2019. In 2021-2022 she supervised and mentored during Reiki circle and clinic.
